Yes, I was hesitant at first. So, I started with a very small bet until I was comfortable to bet with more money. I was very careful risking my money.

When I started playing poker newly online, it was a bit difficult for me to commit real money towards playing because I was not sure of my skills. It took me a bit of time before I can be able to get better at playing and that was the point when I grew more confident that I can bet with money while playing.
