One professional poker player said that if you can't handle one weeks of losing streak, you are not capable of turning pro. Honestly, i can't afford to run a losing streak of one week and continue playing!🤣🤣🤣
Can you handle one week of losing streak in game of poker?

If I play poker twice in a week and I am consistently losing consecutively, I would pause playing for at least eight days. I would be going to the poker room though as much as I have time just to watch. One week of losing streak can completely discourage upcoming poker players like us.

play within your br limits and you should be able to weather a week of running bad, a poker game might last 250-400 hands on a good day, this is a very small sample so you need to be playing plenty for ev to run true over 1000s and 1000s of hands, you cant be discouraged from 1 or 2 bad days in a row and keep doing what you know. if you need to study, study. if you need a break have a break. its not going to change variance but its good to be honest with yourself and know where you are at with honest reflection etc

100%

Battling through variance can be tough during downswings, but eventually you'll get on a heater again. I go through swings all the time where I get tough beats, and don't see very much profit. Consistently with how you play every game will help bring results.

I won't be able to endure a 4 day losing streak as I will want to take a break from playing for the period. Going a week without winning will surely shatter my confidence and that's not what I desire as a player.

Yes I can, because I know variance will balance itself, and my downswings won't last. Whenever I get frustrated because of losing streaks. I take breaks.

It is not always easy to keep playing when one is on a losing streak, but just like you mentioned, it takes experience and ability to manage losses in order to survive such a phase.

Good bankroll management also helps. Losses are less painful when you're only losing a small percentage of your bankroll.

If I'm on a one week losing streak, it's a very good sign for me to pause and take break. Psychologically, my mind isn't in the right place and there's no way I can spin it around.

That's right because losing a small part of your bankroll would make you feel relaxed with the hope that results will swing in your favour pretty soon.

That man is speaking from a place of pure grinder mentality. Me, I won’t lie, one full week of losing? That thing can humble anybody. Even if you tell yourself ā€œvariance, variance,ā€ your chest will still feel it šŸ˜‚
I’d be honest, I can’t just sit there smiling through it. I’d step back, breathe, and reset before it messes with my head.
