First thing, I’d pay off all my debts. This is just to breathe easy and be free. Then I’d help my parents fix up their old house, they’ve been wanting that for years. And honestly? I’d take a month trip somewhere warm and shut my phone off. Just to disappear for a while and think about myself alone.

If I win the lottery, the first thing is to buy a house for my mama. She really deserves it. Secondly, I’ll invest in businesses like tech or food chain. Then I might also travel maybe to Dubai or Zanzibar just to chill.

First of all, I'm going to pay off any debt. I don't want trouble as I want to live a free life. Then, I will set aside some money for my family, so they can be financially free. Lastly , I’ll try small business or investment, so that my money will keep growing .

I will first pay off any debts I owe so I can breathe, then fix our house if it's looking too bad, then take that month to disappear somewhere warm and shut the phone off. That kind of reset can fix more than you think. One small thing I will do for myself is to set aside a tiny emergency fund before I'm going anywhere just so I'm not stress while I'm trying to relax.

I also think you should have considered investing stocks and bonds because there is no business where one is 100 per cent guaranteed that they will make lots of money at the end of the day. So, investing in bonds where there is a guaranteed return even though not much is also what you should consider.

We should talk about the amount of money to be won because that's what's going determine what most people can or cannot do. If I win $1k, I don't think it's going to be enough for me to do much right?

If I won big on the lottery, the first thing I would do is pay off any outstanding debts that I have, so they would all be cleared, and I would no longer have to worry about them. I would then consider helping out family members with debts or anything else they need help with.

After helping out whom I could and paying off any debts I had myself, I would then consider treating myself and my family.

This is a wise thing to do. Ensuring that all debts owed are paid off is a good way to start in terms of ensuring that your family members are also debt-free. I remembered a time when my parents had debts that they needed to settle and how it was difficult for us to handle the situations back then.

Exactly, the amount changes everything. A small win like $1k might feel nice, but it’s not enough to make a big impact or take big risks. People chase the bigger numbers because that’s what really motivates decisions not the small stuff.

The funny thing is a lot of people ends up spending a huge amount of money trying to chase the big numbers and in most cases, they end up losing. That is why it is always said that one should stake as much as they are willing to lose.

Yeah, that's very correct. I've been able to win over $6k trade on Forex. It never made me feel like there's a need to start acting out of the ordinary because it's not that big. It's when we are talking about winning $5M upwards, then we start talking about doing something wild.

I have bills to pay every month, I'll take time and map out my yearly bills and take care of them for 2 years if the money is substantial enough. I'll look for a good investment to take on and prepare for a vacation.

This is a smart thing to do. Thinking long-term when you've won that huge amount of money. I think that is definitely going to help in such a situation where one has won a lot of money via lottery.

Yes, I'm no longer a child who's going to start thinking about how to live a lavish lifestyle because I came into a big amount of money. Opportunity comes once in this life, making the most out of it is how people become successful.

I wouldn't do too much if I won the lottery, I'd continue to live the same life that I'm living now, but I'd pay my bills in advance, so I'd have more breathing more.

Especially in regards to business debts and things like that. I wouldn't overspend or anything like that.
