People are saying that poker game is slowly dying but i totally disagree with that assertion! This year WSOP main event proof otherwise. According to WSOP records, this year tournament record over 9,735 entries. Apart from the WSOP main event, there are various smaller events which the number of participants are likely to be more than that of main event.
Moreover, poker online sites are springing on daily basis!
Do you believe that poker is dying or thriving?

I think poker is still thriving, just evolving. Online poker exploded during COVID and younger players are getting into it through streaming and social media. Sure, some live venues struggle, but new formats like short deck and PLO are keeping things fresh. The game adapts it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

It is definitely thriving. I see it pushing into more areas and more companies getting involved along with businesses. There’s also more businesses opening poker rooms.

It's nice to see poker returning to the glory days, how it was before black friday. I think online poker will thrive again, and return to how things were during the poker boom. We need to keep fighting for legalization of online poker, so we can play without any restrictions. Sites would become much larger if this were ever to happen. Fortunately, we have bitcoin poker sites that allow us to open the doors to more online poker players.

Poker is not dead, it has simply kept up with time. There are some traditional poker centres which might experience downfalls, but online poker is still up and running. These online poker platforms are even experimenting with novelties like the mystery bounties and quicker-paced games to lure younger audiences.

I don't know where the assertion that poker has been declining came from. Let's even leave the WSOP main event. The last Rungood Poker series saw 80% more players than it has ever seen in the last year. That is indicative that more people are getting interested in poker. It is really thriving.

I am happy to say that poker is rising again. The plans to regulate online poker can be one in the right direction and my wish is that it is concluded so that one can be anywhere and enjoy playing poker online.

Poker isn't dying now because if I'm being honest, the activities of playing poker have seen a recent surge in the number of new players participating in playing. I hope the old days of poker popularity returns in full.

Poker is definitely thriving very well by my account. Over the last couple of years, we have seen more players joining and more people winning which is the actually the reason why more players have interest in poker now.

Yes! I spead the gospel about poker even in my neighbourhood, and some of my neighbours have explored what it looks like to be playing poker, which I think is good.
