Floating involves betting on the flop with a weak hand, with the intention of taking the pot later if your opponent demonstrates weakness. This strategy is effective against players who frequently continue to bet but eventually abandon their hand. Floating entails strong hand-reading skills and an aggressive approach to succeed.

Floating works better only when applied at the right time, otherwise, it's quite easier to counter.. It's best when you are playing against an opponent that can easily be predicted.

I have to some extent mastered floating in poker. But I am very cautious how I use it. I use it only when it is obvious that my opponent gives up easily on later streets. I have used it on a player who fired again on the turn and I got roasted.

A "floating" poker strategy is when you call a bet on a later street, like the turn, even if you're unsure where you stand, hoping your opponent will give you a free showdown or make a mistake. It’s about bluffing or sneaking in a cheap call to take control later.

To get more women involved in poker, I think Queens should be ranked higher than Kings.
