Playing cards is a favorite pass time in our countries. We have a lot of popular local card games but poker is not very popular here. You can certainly play poker if you visit local casinos, but most of the people playing pokers are tourists, I haven't see a lot of local play poker. Is poker popular in your country?

It's somewhat popular in England. I went to University(College for most of you) and joined a poker society on campus, with a cash buy in tournament too!

Also a fair amount of people in England know the rules, and have come across it some during thier life.

Lastly(so far at least 🤞🏻) we haven't introduced crazy rules that make it impossible for people to profit from it. So numbers are reasonably high. We also hold the record for the highest amount of entrants in a tournament in the whole world, and that's including Vegas.

Wow, that's interesting. In our place they do not allow any kind of card games, including poker, in the campus. They sometimes allow lotto or bingo but prohibit all sorts of gambling activities.

Poker is very popular in my country, and I know many people who play it both for fun and gambling.

I used to play it a lot more than I do now, but it was mostly for fun when I played. We also enjoy other card games in our country, including solitaire :)

Is that the US? Weird how they let you gamble, but only what they say... Usually its a tax thing. If they can tax it they'll provide it :(

That's Nepal. Gambling is altogether illegal. However, there are casinos and only foreigners are allowed to enter casinos. Gambling brings a lot of revenue but they only allow foreigners to play. Sometimes they allow gambling in the name of raffle or fun events.

Not really. Poker's not that big where I'm from.. People might play casually with friends here and there but it's not like a mainstream thing.
