I like to keep my poker money separate from my real-life finances. It gives me a sense of accomplishment when I’m able to build my bankroll successfully.

What about you?

I have a budget for poker and other casino games. If I lose it all, I don't play until I refill my budget. If I win, I will replenish my previous losses. I never use the money to play Poker or any casino games that I generally set aside to manage my expenses.

Separating funds is not optional if you are serious. I once mixed everything together, thinking I could track everything mentally. It was the biggest mistake I made. And when I started separating my accounts, everything made more sense. Mixing both just invites unnecessary pressure, and poker already has enough tension. So, separating your funds is the best.
