I think online poker has especially evolved in a way that’s created a lot of overly aggressive players.

While I can be aggressive myself, I consider my moves calculated, even if my style can seem a bit wild at times. Ultimately, it helps me get the results I’m aiming for.

Thoughts?

Well, I haven't played poker too frequently in the casino, I haven't even played much at home as well. I mostly play online, which keeps me away from aggressive players that we could encounter while playing in person. However, I frequently hear stories of aggression, and some of these stories are too brutal.

I have seen people play like they have unlimited funds. Calculated aggression is good, but this reckless style that I see a lot of people do now would burn their bankroll quickly.

In poker, aggression hasn’t gone “too far,” but it has definitely become more important in modern play.
Today’s games reward frequent betting, raising, and pressure because players are more skilled and less likely to fold weakly. If you only play passively, you get exploited quickly.
