Poker has taught me to be more patient in real life. I’ve matured a lot through my experiences in poker and learned how to manage my money better. I didn’t expect to learn life lessons from playing poker.

What about you, did poker teach you anything you didn’t expect?

Don't chase the losses.
This rule applies in your financial decisions, whether you are trading or investing.

Poker teach me to be patience even more than anything. I was naturally impatient before, like I must act fast. But after some bad decisions that cost me some money, I calm down very quickly. It's funny how games can train our mindset.

Yes, it taught me how much control matters more than brilliance. Poker also shows how often good decisions still lead to bad outcomes, and learning to accept that is a big shift.
