I'm not going to lie, when I was younger my parents would stop playing with me because of how serious I started taking poker, and I would get mad sometimes when I lose.

I like to think I matured since then, and behave better. Its important to have fun while playing. Other than myself, I haven't seen anyone get very mad at home games I played. They're usually pretty friendly.

Has anyone got mad at your home games?

When I started playing poker and started playing home games, there were points that I just felt competitive despite the low stakes. There were few times I used to get really frustrated with bad beats and I would sign heavily. But I had never let it escalate. Nowadays, I don't even feel anything no matter how I lose in home poker games.

Home game is fun and i never take it serious. I do receive a lot of bad beats but it is okay. I never feel beaten or frustrated! In the weekend, i look forward to play poker with my family members especially with my dad and senior brother!

I haven't personally but I've definitely heard stories about it. People can get competitive even in casual home games especially if someone's being cocky or playing dirty. Money changes people's behavior sometimes even small amounts.

When money is involved, I see a lot of people who play card games like Poker easily get mad. People who are losing always seem to be on a bad mood and they easily get mad.

I have seen a lot of drama. One guy nearly flip the table because of one bad beat. That thing shocked me. Home game that was suppose to be fun turned into a serious fight.

I have not witnessed it real life, but I do see how it usually turns out in movies. The moment they are losing then all hell will break lose. I suppose the casinos have security to keep things in check.

I frequently meet people at home game who become mad once they start losing. People who only play for money usually lose control

I never had any playing experience with my parents at home because they never played but I've experienced that on different occasions with my buddies who comes over to play or when I visit them to play. It's very unfortunate some people can't keep it cool whenever they are losing.
