Cloud gaming is growing, but not replacing consoles yet. Is it convenience, pricing, or device access that actually pushes users to switch? Or do latency issues and ownership concerns still dominate decision-making more than features or platform marketing?

I would say that for those who tend to switch from console to cloud gaming, a lot of the time it is convenience more than anything.

When you play on the cloud, you can play from any device that is compatible, and no matter where you are, meaning if you are travelling, you can still play games, if you are waiting for appointments, you can still play games.

I will admit, cloud gaming is not perfect, but they have made a lot of changes that have made cloud gaming a lot more stable than it used to be a few years ago when it first launched.

Would people actually switch to cloud gaming from consoles, or even PC, I don't think so. You don't need expensive hardware, so cloud gaming might be ideal choice who want to start gaming but those who are already gaming, might stay with their chosen platform.

Cloud gaming vs console talk is always sweet but the reality is different. I tried cloud gaming once and my WiFi just started malfunctioning. Consoles still win for me because once you press the power button, you start playing immediately. There is no network negotiation, no buffering embarrassment.
