Early social media felt like a revolution. Now it feels more repetitive and algorithm-driven. Do you think we’re past the golden era?

The social media has gotten worse. Before it was better and fun but now it's all about the algorithm and sponsorship. I miss when timeline feel organic, not this current “we think you’ll like this” nonsense we see everyday

Social media has peaked. Therefore, there is a concern for over use it. In many countries they have started banning social media for children.

We are currently in the AI era of social media. That can be seen with the rate of hyper personalization of feeds. And I think that this AI era of social media is just starting and would keep improving.

I think social media has matured more than peaked. Growth now feels less about expansion and more about reinvention through AI, niche communities, and new formats. It’s still evolving, but the era of explosive, game-changing innovation certainly feels slower.

I feel social media has peaked, and you can see that with how addicted many people are when it comes to social media, including children.

I know many countries have banned children from social media, and I believe the UK is either one of them or will be one of them, which I am in agreement with.

With social media, you can do almost everything in one place. Take Facebook, for example, you can stream, post short-form video content, add friends, interact with friends and family, and you can even buy and sell on their marketplace, which is why social media, especially Facebook, has become so addictive, I feel.

Some aspects of social media is still improving and developing. One of such is the creators economy. It is still evolving in terms of subscriptions, toppings etc.

I honestly don't think social media has anything new they can bring right now, it has reached it's peak, they can only recycle things that are already there.

I think social media has peaked and has no room to grow/expand it its current state.

Everyone and their grandparents are already on social media. The only generation that isn't on social media yet is the younger generation, which is the kids.

Social media has rapidly gone through multiple changes but I so not think it has ever reached for it's saturation level
