Your thoughts on a half-time show for the World Cup Final

It was announced last week that there would be a half-time show for the World Cup final this year in New Jersey, and it has been a mixed reaction ever since the announcement was made.

As someone who enjoys the World Cup and also understands football, it is unheard of to have a half-time show during the World Cup or for football as it can greatly affect the players who are playing if they go longer than the 15 minutes they usually have for half-time.

I am curious, though, as to how the half-time show will be done, and also interested in how it will work, but I am also excited to see BTS performing as well.

What are your thoughts on there being a half-time show for the World Cup?

I am ok with shows during the opening or closing ceremony, but I am not a fan of half time show. What are they going to do in 15 minutes, are they extending half time?

I cannot see how half time show fits in a game of football. How would they do it, keep it under 15 minutes (which is the standard break time) or extend it to make more rooms for performers?

They are planning to extend half time to 20-30 minutes to accommodate performance.

Meh. I've been less than impressed with most of the half-time shows. I'm also not sure why they thought selecting BTS as one of the acts was a smart decision.

I think it would bring more eyeballs to soccer/football, as casual viewers would tune in for the halftime show.
