I haven't played for a long time, so I haven't seen noticeably any changes. The only change I saw, especially in online poker, is the payment method. When I tied first time, they did not support bitcoin or other cryptos, I had to use Skrill or Neteller. These days almost all poker site accepts crypto payment.

The biggest change I notice now is how much information everybody has now. Years ago, many players relied on their instinct and experience. Now everybody has charts, videos, software and endless strategy content to use.
