The best advice I've heard is to focus on making good decisions, not on winning every hand. You can't control the cards, but you can control how well you play. Over the long run, good decisions atr more helpful than short-term results.
 
The best advice I've received is to never let one hand affect the next one. Every hand is a new decision, and carrying frustration or overconfidence into the next deal usually leads to mistakes.
 
Don't be an emotional fool. This is the best poker mindset advice I have ever received. Most of the time we end up making emotional decision, and in a game like poker emotional decisions aren't good, might even harm your game.
 
Well, on of the best poker advice i ever heard was “dont chase losses. It's a very simple sentence but it's quite difficult even more than writing an exam.
