I started doing it late but it opened my eyes. Before, I honestly believed i was winning more than i actually was. Your memory can deceive you in that regard. When I started entering everything on a spreadsheet, that's when I saw reality. All the small losses i ignored had added up quietly.
 
Personally, I don't keep a spreadsheet for such. Why? It's because I can access each and everyone of my games online on the account I play with. It's too much work trying to create a Google spreadsheet for such.
