Curious if others have some favorites. For me? It is roulette. The odds are pretty bad, particularly on American, rather than European, wheels. But it can be a nice, slow paced way to play, and hang out with my wife. We both enjoy a cocktail, place our bets, and talk. If we win, è magnifico! If not, well, the time spent is nice.

How 'bout you? :)

Well, the game that comes to mind is roulette. The odds favour the house more but I still have fun playing it even if I don't win. Some times I use it to unwind and pass time.

I hear you. They call it the Devil's Game because the numbers add up to 666. Haha, I suppose so. But, hey, I can think of worse ways to pass the time.

That aside, one of my favorite scenes, in a favorite movie, couldn't be more beautiful. From the 1942 picture, Casablanca:

Video poker is my go-to even though the odds aren't great. I just love the mix of skill and luck, and sometimes a good run makes up for the usual losses.

I Didn't know about that roulette being called the Devil's Game. Sure, it's a game to pass time. The excitement of watching the wheel spin and waiting for the ball to land is exhilarating. But it's still favours the house.
