What everyday tech do you think we rely on too much?

I think we rely too much on smartphones and algorithm-driven apps. They handle communication, navigation, memory, entertainment, and even decision-making. They’re incredibly useful, but depending on them for everything can weaken attention, patience, and independent problem-solving in everyday life.

Is privacy dead in the modern internet age?

I don’t think privacy is dead, but it’s definitely harder to protect now. I see it as something people have to actively manage through smarter choices, better tools, and awareness of how much data platforms collect.

Skill Based Games Vs. Luck Based Games

Skill-based games like poker tend to feel more rewarding long term because your decisions actually improve your outcomes over time. There’s a sense of control, progress, and mastery, which keeps people engaged. Luck-based games like roulette are more about short-term excitement.

What’s the Biggest Mental Leak in Poker?

The biggest mental leak in poker is letting emotions control decisions. After a bad beat, many players chase losses, force plays, or stop thinking clearly. Tilt doesn’t just lose one hand, it affects every decision after that if you let it.

Is Confidence More Important Than Skill in Poker?

I think skill is more important than confidence. Having said that confidence helps you apply that skill properly. Without it, players hesitate or second-guess decisions. Too much confidence without skill becomes recklessness.

Do you believe in "fixed" matches, or is it just bad luck?

In sports betting, most losses come from variance, poor analysis, or unrealistic expectations, not fixed matches. Match-fixing does happen occasionally, especially in less regulated leagues, but blaming losses on rigging too quickly usually is a lower mentality

How much of sports betting is skill versus pure luck?

Sports betting is mostly influenced by luck in the short term, but skill can matter over the long term when you learn strategy and build analytical knowledge. Therefore, you cannot categorize it as a pure skill or pure luck, it’s a mix, but luck has a much bigger impact than many people assume.

How do I avoid losing too much on slots?

If you want to avoid losing too much on slots, treat them as entertainment, not a way to make money. Set a strict budget before you start and stick to it no matter what. Don’t chase losses, that’s where most big losses happen.

Playing Card Games: Competition or Relaxation

Is playing freeroll really playing poker?

Yes, it’s absolutely poker, just a different environment. The rules, strategy, and decision-making are still there. What changes is player behavior. Since there’s no financial risk, many freeroll players make loose or unpredictable moves you’d rarely see in regular games. Freerolls are good for...

Should casinos ban phones at the table entirely?

A full ban would probably be excessive. Phones can distract players and slow the game, and there are valid concerns around fairness or outside assistance.
