    Do You Own a House

    I don't own a house. But it's something I would want to do when I have enough money. The thing is that the price of land has increased like crazy. So, making that amount of money will take time.

    Do You Have Any Regrets About You Past Decisions

    There is one regret that is still very painful to me. I didn't buy land when the price was affordable 5 years ago. Now the price has doubled and I can't afford it. But I try not to think about it too much. Another regret was trusting the wrong people.

    Each time I try to wear hats, it makes me uncomfortable. I would be scratching my head. But I see many people that wears it and it looks good on them. It's not my thing.

    Do you have a daily routine?

    I try to read my bible but sometimes when I wake up late, the routine would be disrupted. My morning routine is to wake up, check my phone (bad habit, I know), pray, then rush to prepare for work. But the one thing I do every day without failing is to drink water immediately I wake up.

    What's the best way to deal with stress or anxiety?

    When the stress is getting too much, I just find somewhere quiet to relax. Sometimes I go to the rooftop of my building and just look at the sky. My place is very noisy, so finding a quiet space is a big challenge.

    What's the most memorable gift you've ever received?

    One of the most memorable gift I receive was a book that my late father gave me before he passed. The book is titled "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe. He wrote inside the cover: "To my son, always remember where you are from." That's the only gift I can't buy with money.

    How often do you go on vacations

    Vacation is a luxury that only the rich can afford. The last time I went anywhere that I could call a vacation was in 2019 when I went to visit my uncle. Since then, it's been work or I just stay at home sleeping.

    I saw a "limited edition" shoe on Instagram, the price was high but I just bought it without even thinking. When the shoe was delivered, it didn't even fit my leg well.     Best way to spend a Sunday afternoon

    I like to buy myself a pepper soup and eat while watching Nollywood movies on my phone. But the thing is that I make sure to download the movies before Sunday because of electricity issues. We don't have a stable power supply here.

    This one is a very funny topic that could make you think so deeply. The universe is big like something that doesn't have an end, so it's very difficult to say we are the only living things here.

    Why is it that a lot of people are uncomfortable with change

    Where I am living, every change that has happened in the last few years is for the worse. Fuel subsidy removal, currency change, electricity tariff increase, all of them bring some kind of hardship. So people have really developed the fear of change.

    The quiet ones always win. In our office, there is this guy that doesn't usually talk even in our meetings but he is observing everything. When he finally talk, it would be the the solution that everybody was waiting for. Meanwhile the loud ones just talk nonsense.

    Running away from anything that could take you to the police station is the best strategy. In most places, police is never your friend. Even when you are innocent, they could drag you into what you did not do and they will demand money before they release you.

    What did you last eat and drink?

    Ribs and mashed potatoes? That’s a foreign lifestyle. The last thing I ate was a local delicacy. Eba and okro soup with plenty of meat. My wife prepare it yesterday night and it was so delicious.

    How many meals do you eat everyday?

    I try to eat twice. That's breakfast and dinner. But breakfast is just tea and bread or garri if things are hard. I usually skip Lunch because I would be working and no time to actually sit down to eat something, plus the money to buy food in my office is quite expensive.

    Are you in a relationship?

    Yes, I married. We love each so much and we also trust each other to a larger extent. With all the stories of cheating that we see everywhere, sometimes my mind would just wander, but she has my full trust and I have hers. That's what is most important in a relationship.

    what else do you like doing for fun, besides playing poker?

    I like watching old Nollywood movies. The ones from the 90s and early 2000s when the acting was raw and the stories was so simple. Nowadays movies are too complicated with all the big budget.

    Have you ever fantasized about being rich?

    Every day I fantasize about been a rich man. Who will not think about being rich in this hard time? I usually fantasize about waking up and not checking my bank balance with fear. Just to wake up, knowing that there is a large amount of money sitting in my account.

    What's Something You Miss From the Past?

    I miss when a very small amount of money could buy you many things. Money has value in those days. Now small money can't even buy a candy in some places. Another thing I miss is the simplicity of our childhood.

    What Hobby Would You Like to Try?

    For me, I want to learn photography properly. Not the phone camera type but real photography with the big camera and lenses. I see people taking beautiful pictures of Lagos. The bridges, the markets, the sunset over the lagoon and I just keep wondering how they are able to do it.
