Is the UFC pay structure fair to their fighters?

Fighter pay issue is absolutely somehow. these guys enter the cage knowing one punch can put them in danger for the whole of their life, yet many of them still complain about money. I understand that the company also wants profit, but balance is so important.

Do You Have Anyone From Your Country Playing in UFC

Nigeria has a lot of them. Most of the Nigerian fighters are doing well in UFC from Israel Adesanya to Kamoru and the rest of them .

Which UFC retired fighter would you most like to see compete one more time?

I still wish Khabib fought one or two more times before retiring. It's not because he needed anything again, I just wanted to see him against some fresh names. but i also understand why he left when he did.

What is the most impressive comeback victory in UFC history?

Silva against Chael Sonnen still gives me goosebumps. Hewas practically losing everything then boom, fight twisted and he won. Thats why i never celebrated too early in MMA.

Prime vs Prime: Which era wins?

The modern era fighters has that advantage. They have access to better coaching, nutrition, recovery and technology. But we shouldn't disrespect the old folks. Those guys fought with utmost seriousness. Sometimes i rewatch some old clips and wonder how they are able to survive.

The Octagon has made it to the White House.

No one actually believe that UFC would get to white house one day. I saw the setup online and it really looked clean. It was a very good initiative.

Do You Prefer Playing During the Day or at Night?

I enjoy the night more. The daytime is just too noisy. You would be disturbed with calls, dispatch will knock and some other things. Night sessions is just better for me even if I don't sleep.

What is the best way to practice poker for free?

With the way things are right now, I can't be throwing my money around just because I want to improve my game. There has to be sensible free ways to practice first. l think free tables, training apps and watching experienced players explain their decisions would make sense before risking the...

Why shouldn't you limp into a pot?

A friend told me to stop limping into pots and I don't seem to understand. if something is bad, explain why it's bad instead of using poker slang. I prefer people that actually teach instead of making newcomers feel confused. One thing I've noticed is that everybody suddenly becomes a professor...

What does it mean when someone says "the nuts"?

I was scrolling through a poker forum and a member kept writing "the nuts". I didn't understand this quite well. Imagine a newcomer reading that without context. Poker terminology are very funny sometimes. Some expressions sound completely different outside of card games. But after i finally...

Is learning poker math actually necessary?

I just finished reading one article and honestly it made me sigh. I got confused with all the percentages and probability. I know maths helps, no argument, but sometimes people talk like if you don't become a calculator, you can't improve your game.😂 I believe understanding the basics should be...

How much should your opening bet size be?

I've been watching different poker videos and everybody has different opinions. One coach says keep it's small. Another says increase it depending on the table. So, who do I believe? I think beginners overthink this part too much. Before you even settle on one size, another situation has already...

What is the difference between a check and a bet?

I was explaining poker to one guy and I nearly confused myself. At first, I thought this check and bet thing would be easy to explain. Sometimes what look obvious after playing for so long is not same to newcomers at all. Now I understand why plenty of beginners mix them up. Poker has some...

Is it better to play tight or loose when starting out?

I was chatting with one friend after we got back from work and this argument refuse to end. He says beginners should attack. I said they need to calm down first. I feel playing tight gives new players time to understand the game without having to donate chips every minute. What's your take?

How do you calculate pot odds quickly at the table?

I've been reading different poker articles and my head is almost hot. People calculate pot odds like a calculator was hidden in their brain. For me, I still need few extra minutes before everything clicks. Maybe with enough practice, it would become natural but right now, it just feels like a...

What does "position" mean in Texas Hold'em?

I just watched one strategy video and everybody kept shouting "position position position" like it's a secret code. I think I understand to some extent now but it still amazes me how sitting in one place can change everything. Before I got into poker I have always thought that cards alone...

Does anyone else struggle to remember hand rankings?

Sometimes your brain might just freezes for one second when you are trying to compare hands, especially if you have stay awake for too long. But later, everything would come back like it's a magic. Have you ever witnessed that?

What is the hardest poker rule for beginners to learn?

The betting order is the most difficult thing in poker. Every few minutes, a beginner would ask “whose turn”. It might look easy until you tried explaining it to someone. That's when you would realized that some things that the experienced players call the basic are not really basic.

What’s the one Poker app on your phone that actually made you a better player?

I've been clearing unused apps from my phone. Funny enough, YouTube app survived because i actually started understanding plenty of mistakes I have been making before. Watching those videos actually helped my confidence. I like apps that help explain things instead of just throwing beginners in...

What’s the first thing you do after a winning session?

The first thing I do is not even to celebrate. I go straight to my banking app, make sure I confirm the money is there. And once the money is there, my mind calms down to some extent. Then, I can buy me a cold drink or better food. What about you?
