UFC and boxing are not the same. There are simply more betting options in UFC like kicks, submissions, and a knockout that can occur out of the blue. Boxing is more technical and tends to go in a direction. Some bettors actually like the rush of UFC and others like boxing just because it is slower and the statistics are easier to understand. They all have their advantages and difficulties based on how you play bets.

None of them is better than other. They pose the same risk of losing and winning. When it comes to gambling, i use to advise gamblers to specialise in one sports that you know relatively better. In this case, if know UFC better, you should go for it or the other way round. The chances of success is more for you as a gambler in a game you can easily analyze.

I would rather bet on boxing than stake my money on the rush of UFC. Boxing has a definite pace that one can identify in-game for a bettor to play live bets. I lean more towards live bets for combat sports and it is boxing that looks more predictable for me in-game.

You are right. Betting on a sports that you have a bit of understanding of how it works is very important. It is always going to help when you wish to make those predictions about the particular sport.
