The Cowboys have indicated they intend to place him on injured reserve this week.
However, Prescott’s decision isn’t final yet; he’s scheduled to meet with an additional specialist in New York for a second opinion, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Still, surgery appears probable, which would sideline him for a minimum of four months and likely end his season.
