Building a bankroll from scratch is the goal for a lot of players, but realistically, not everyone sticks to that path.

Some players deposit regularly to move up faster or recover from downswings, while others prefer a strict “no redeposit” approach and only play with what they’ve built.

Where do you stand on this?

I do sometimes, but only within a limit I’m comfortable losing. I treat poker bankroll deposits like an investment in the game. I never chase losses with random deposits.

Anybody that says they never redeposited before is either lying or they have stromg discipline 😂 Building bankroll naturally sounds sweet until one terrible week wipes your progress. I used to force myself with the “never redeposit” mindset until I realized I was playing scared because I didnt want to lose everything. Small calculated deposits can actually help if your game is decent.

Sometimes, yeah, but only in a controlled way. If I’m running low and still want to play my usual stakes, I might top up my bankroll. I try not to chase losses though, so I set limits and treat it more like maintaining proper bankroll management than emotional reloading.
