I know a few players that like to punt(not naming names). I do it if I play any freerolls, and decide whether or not it's worth it to grind after a double up or two.

How about you? Do you ever punt your stack when you play poker?

Players can only punt in freerolls where they don't put their cash at stack. I don't think any right thinking poker player will intentionally punt where money is involved especially the cash that is going from his card or pocket. Even Multi millionaires can't throw their money around except from inexperience.

Yeah, I've definitely done that more times than I'd like to admit. Usually happens when I'm tilted after a bad beat or when I'm already down and trying to get even quickly. Online makes it way too easy to click buttons when you're frustrated. I'm trying to get better at just logging off instead.

it depends on the situation, i always try my best when i can but sometimes in homegames even micro stakes i dont take too seriously and find myself having calculated punts in spots. i have no issue blinding down so patience is key to be honest

I very rarely punt my stack. Even when I am playing freerolls, I always try to be disciplined to play solid poker. When I have freerolls, I approach it from the point of view to practice my game and get better without the financial pressure. That's why I stay focused on playing good poker and try to make the best decisions possible on the table.
