Do you need music when you play poker?

I often can’t play online poker without music playing in the background. The only exception is when I’m playing in home games that my friends stream on Twitch, but even their streams usually have music, just not the kind of music I normally listen to.

I have roommates, so I need music to drown out the background noise. It helps me lock in when I play online poker. I find it’s easier to get distracted online compared to playing live.

I've turned off music out of frustration before, but overall, it helps me grind and stay focused. Certain songs can even help me get back on track and regain my motivation when things aren't going my way.
