Mindfulness is a form of meditation where a player take few deep breath and try to clear his mind of all stress. Mindfulness helps a poker player or a gambler to be more focused and build more confidence. Professional poker player use mindfulness to build inner strength and clarity.
Do you practice mindfulness when playing poer?
 
I try to but I'm not great at it. I'll take deep breaths between hands and try to stay present instead of thinking about past bad beats or future outcomes. It definitely helps when I remember to do it. I make better decisions when I'm calm and focused on the current moment.
 
I practice mindfulness playing poker. Breathing between hands calms me down and makes me focused. It clears my mind of the previous losses and makes me stay in the present. I also read opponents better and that lets me make smarter bets choices
