Do you prefer home games hosted online or playing home games in-person/live?

Even though it's been forever since I played any live poker. I prefer playing in-person instead of online home poker games.

I still do enjoy home games online, and they have a similar feel when you play with a welcoming community.

Live home games are quite different and you get to experience some sort of social interaction that is not found in online games. But I think online home games can be a good substitute, at least when you feel like you are in a friendly environment. Another advantage of online games is that you do not require a lot of time to spend on games.

Our home games online also don't hurt the wallet as much, because they're only $1.10 buy-ins.

I prefer to play live tournament poker at local casinos and cash games at local home games. Home cash games tend to bring looser players that want to be pros.
