Hi!

One thing I have been very curious about is peoples experience with going "all in". Have you ever done so? If so, how much was it for, and what was the outcome?

It honestly depends on the situation, and if your hand holds up. When you shove all in, and your expecting to get called. You want be the one that's the favorite, with a higher chance/percentage to win the hand.

All you can do is get your money in good, and hope for the best.

Have to agree with @Baw$e on this. Depends on your situstion.

All in is the most polarizing play in poker. It has multiple purposes and I love seeing how it plays out. More often than not it leads to your opponents fold. You have to be very strong or have very good odds to call.

For me, I believe that going all-in can definitely work, but it it only work at the right time. So, you need a strong hand or a good reason to bluff. Using it too much can make it less effective.
