Does anyone actually make a full-time living from betting?

I know people like to talk big online but the reality is different. My neighbour once claimed that he is a full-time bettor until one weekend of losses made him start asking people for transport money. Depending on betting as income is a dangerous level.

I don’t know anyone who is betting full time, I would never try.

I know a few people who gamble as a full time income. However, I wouldn't try it myself. It is too risky as it is not possible to be on the winning side always.

With the wsy betting is which is a game of chance I doubt it should be taken as a full time job. The risk stake here is just told high.
