Does money win trophies in football now?

Before now, it used to be all about pedigree and sustainability to build team for a team to win trophies in football. But it seems that with money, any team can win football trophies. Do you think having money would afford a team trophies now in football?

Yes! Of course! I remembered when Chelsea is under performing club and nobody takes Chelsea serious until Abramovic came with oil money. He spend over $1 billion dollars to get the services of the best players in Europe which include Ballack, Didier Drogba Terry, Anelka, Michael Essien, Mikel Obi etc.
