Does your bank ever block your gambling transactions?

There was a time I try to make a deposit with my bank card and the transaction failed twice. I called my bank and they started asking plenty of questions. That was when i decided to just cancel everything. Sometimes it feels like the bank has already decided for you. Have you gone through this before?
