When do you chase that dream—deep stacks, loose villains, backdoor equity? Or do you fold and dodge the -EV trap? Drop your strategy and wildest gutshot tales!"

• A gutshot draw has 4 outs and an 8.5% chance of hitting on the turn or 17% on the river.
• Pot odds are often unfavorable, so players rely on implied odds and positioning.

When to Chase:

• Deep Stacks: When you and your opponents have large stacks, there’s more potential for bigger payouts.
• Loose Opponents: Facing players who are more likely to make loose calls can increase your implied odds.
• Backdoor Equity: When you have additional drawing potential beyond just the gutshot, such as backdoor flush or straight possibilities.

I try to keep the pots small whenever I'm chasing a draw unless I'm trying to take a pot down. I might get a little creative.
