Without active players on poker sites, it's going to be difficult for you to have games waiting for you to join when you come online to play. This is why players traffic is important for any poker site which most of them have. Without it, the poker site won't have any value to players.

Have you ever encountered lack of active players on any specific poker site when you wanted to play on it? Which online poker site was it?

Of all the sites I have used in the past, none of the ever seemed to be inactive and always seemed to have people playing.

I've had it happen. It usually happens in freerolls, and you can collect all the blinds.

Well, a poker site with zero active players is definitely a red flag. Maybe that exactly is the reason why new players wouldn't want to remain there?

It's an oversaturated market for sure. Players often have a few go to sites already. Hard to convince players to try something new when they have reliable options.

Yeah I would be skeptical too. Nobody has all the time in the world to combine several poker sites.

If your persistent enough players will try new sites. A lot of players have a hard time trusting sites outside of the few that they regularly play, but if they have friends on other sites they usually join.

So many sites indeed encountered low or no engagement. Have I experienced one? Yes, especially the lesser-known or new poker sites.
