I'm Jason and I don't gamble at the moment, but in the past, I was into video poker. Anyway, other things about me are my hobbies. They are web development, musical performance, computer art creation as well as blogging and forum posting.

Note: I am also certified to tutor math, so I have looked at probability. That would be something that relates to poker. Has anyone else studied probability and/or statistics?
 
Welcome @Jason to poker community. I never played video poker as I prefer to play against other players. Your math skills would help your game if you ventured into playing online poker.

Thanks @Bawse for the welcome, and I am very cynical about math skills, cause ultimately, you need a large bankroll, no matter the situation.

You could always play micro stakes, and work your way up slowly. You don't need a big bankroll for smaller tournaments. I built both my current bankrolls on StockPoker, and DarkSidePoker for free :)
