Neymar was tipped for big things in football right when he was a teenager. Clubs scrambled for his signature that Barcelona had to do some dirty deals behind to secure him. He was touted to take over the reins of top footballer from Ronaldo and Messi. He didn't achieve anything big in his career for club and country.

Where did it fall apart for Neymar? How did he lose it?

Neymar problem started with playing with Messi. Messi did not give him the space to develop and consolidate his footprint in European football. Neymar is a high talented player that need grooming and space to grow. Playing with Messi is what caused his failure. He should have choose a club where he will be playing constantly. Not in a club where he will be playing supportive role.
