When I’m not mentally focused or not in the right mood, I’ll usually watch a movie or a TV series to take my mind off poker.

What do you do to avoid playing when you’re not fully focused?

I do not play as a chore, I play when I am in mood. Being in mood means I am completely focuses, when I am not focused, I don't even feel like playing. If you play even when you aren't focused, you might end up playing badly.

If I'm not focused, I won't even open the app at all. I remembered the time I forced myself to play, I lost concentration. Playing like that is a slow way to lose money

When I feel tired, distracted, frustrated, or mentally scattered, I simply wouldn’t play. I don't try to play for the sake if playing, I play only when I seriously want to play. I play for the live of the game and for fun and relaxation

Before playing, do a quick check. If you’re tired, distracted, frustrated, or chasing losses, don’t play. Set clear stop rules beforehand, like ending the session if your concentration drops. Dscipline is more important than motivation. Skipping a bad session usually saves more money than forcing one.
