How important is math when you play poker?

Personally, I think if you understand basic math, and play hard you'll be fine.
You don't need to be a math wizard to be great at poker, but knowledge is power, obviously the better you're at math, the better your poker skills will become.

How important do you think math is in poker? Do you often use math when you play?

While probability will give a player an edge, it does not guarantee success. Knowledge of probability will help a poker player formulate a strategy which will likely boost his chance of success. Now, it is very unlike to see a poker player without some basic knowledge of probability.!
 
Knowledge of maths is very important in poker but that's not the only factor for winning. Understanding probability and odds gives you added advantages at the table. Knowledge of psychology is also very crucial in reading people and adapting to the situation at the table.
