I'm talking about that point where poker stopped feeling like gambling and started feeling like a skill game you could actually control. Was it after a certain number of hands played, or did something specific happen like studying a concept that suddenly made everything make sense, or having a session where you felt totally in control of your decisions? And did confidence come gradually over months or years, or was there one "aha" moment where you realized you actually understood the game? I feel like everyone has that turning point where poker transforms from confusing chaos into strategic patterns you can recognize and exploit.

Truthfully. I was always confident. However, only within the last few years is when I truly started to believe in my game, and trust in the process. I would doubt myself in the past during downswings. I'm the biggest critique of my own game.

It took me months, honestly. At first I was just pressing buttons. Slowly, the patterns started making sense. Confidence didn’t come suddenly, it crept in gradually.

Life is like a game of poker: it is not about what cards you are dealt, but how you play them.
