Evaluating the total amount of losses is not easy, but it is vital when you are aiming for improvement. Consider:

- Session logs: Record wins/losses
- Bankroll management: Set limits
- Self-reflection: Identify mistakes

Use the above data to:

- Refine strategy
- Adjust risk
- Improve mental game

There is no reason to lie, you need to be honest. Facing your losses head-on will:

- Enhance decision-making
- Reduce financial stress
- Fuel long-term success

You need to take control, record your losses and turn your poker experience into a new game.

I've won more than I lost playing online poker, but in the past before I had discipline and good bankroll management, I lost multiple minimum deposits.

I've built my bankrolls on most sites I played from playing freerolls over the years. I've been trying to slowly level up, and get into bigger games.

I think that would be hard to know if you are net positive as you really haven't "lost" anything unless you track all games and add up the amount that you've lost. But, I don't think that would have any significance as you're still positive. You might want to consider knowing the percentage that you're up to try and improve on that though, which you can only get if you know the amount lost and gained.

But, you could know the amount that you won and the amount that you lost.

None since I only used it to forget my problems for a while. However, my uncle, who has tried it before, has more wins than losses. He is quite good at it.

Your success in building a strong bankroll reveals that you are disciplined. During my first period learning poker, I encountered several losses. These challenges are typical for the journey and it will surely get better as we garner more experience.

ive been a breakeven/winning player over the years ive played, if ive lost anything its time tbh but then i look at that as time invested and hope to reap some rewards for the effort 1 day. its perspective and upto your mentality on how much you lose
