If I want to be very honest, I review hands more after i experience painful losses. That's probably not ideal, but that's what happens often. Improvement usually comes from mistakes we hate revisiting and that's the point..

I’ll be honest as always…..I’ve come to the realization that I don’t think like a poker player and pretty sure I don’t play like one at least not like you guys do.

As a professional I regularly review them. Playing devils advocate with yourself is the best way to understand all possible outcomes.

It also allows us to measure them against each other.

Most players only look at their winners, and/or losers. I try and snap my students out of that. It's better than not looking at all, but not optimal.
