Players that play tight usually last longer in tourneys.

And sometimes I just go with my gut which hasn't been right lately any two cards can win but I do tend to throw away the hard stuff to match on the board

Players who play tight might survive deeper into tournaments. They are significantly less profitable in general.

A more aggressive player may bust out early more often but I'll take 1 trophy in 20 tournaments over 4 small cashes without hesitation.

There is a survival element to poker but many recreational players lack a fundamental understanding of how to execute this strategy.

I usually play tighter, but I pick my spots to turn up my aggression. I like to secure cash before making risky moves, even then I consider them educated risks.

Always PLAY TO WIN, not for min cashes.

It is always correct to play for the win and not just go for the minimum cash.
