There are many newbies who want to learn the game of poker. They may want to play and earn money. However, thy may not have any idea about how to play the game of poker. So, how do you learn the game of poker as a newbie?

You should first learn rules and basic hand rankings. Once you know the basics, you can start learning simple cash game strategy like position and starting hands. In the beginning play low stakes or free games, and always review your mistakes.

Learning poker felt confusing at first, I won't lie. I was watching random YouTube clips and everything sounded like a complex maths. What helped was just understanding basic rules and observing how it's been played.

You should learn the basics first, for example, hand rankings, positions, and how betting works. Then play low-stakes or free games to get comfortable without pressure.
You can watch tutorials or read guides, but don’t overload yourself.

Learn rhe basic rules and play aa much as you can. First play in a home setting and once when you are somewhat comfortable play in casinos setting. Also watch professional play and learn from them.
