In the world of poker, achieving a royal flush is a remarkable feat. For one card dealer in Adelaide, South Australia, it became a defining part of her career.

The poker dealer in question is a skilled and experienced woman with over five years of dealing cards, but her journey took an unexpected turn when she recently dealt a royal flush, resulting in a big jackpot win.

This rare hand is one of the most sought-after in poker and happens only once in every 650,000 hands dealt. One was recently paid out for nearly half a million dollars at a Virginia casino.

But what makes this story even more fascinating is that just 15 months prior to this event, the same dealer had dealt a royal flush during another game at the very same venue.

Dealing such a rare hand twice, in such a short period of time, is a statistical anomaly, with odds as high as 1 in 422 trillion.

Poker Dealer Always Maintained Her Innocence

Both jackpot wins happened at the same poker venue in Adelaide's CBD. As news of these unlikely events spread, the venue quickly became the talk of the poker community and beyond.

Such incredible luck naturally sparked rumors and speculation. However, the dealer insisted that these events were just coincidences. Known as a "lucky dealer," she firmly denied any wrongdoing and stated she would never cheat.

Although the venue didn’t accuse her of cheating, the dealer lost her job for allegedly breaking certain rules. Following an investigation, she was cleared of any wrongdoing, affirming her innocence.

Understanding the Odds Tied to a Royal Flush

The odds of hitting a royal flush are slim at 1 in 650,000, but hitting this hand twice in a row is astronomically improbable at 1 in 422 trillion.

To put this into perspective, you have a greater chance of winning the lottery, getting struck by lightning, being eaten by a shark, or even winning an Oscar.

It's worth noting that there are more possible ways to shuffle a 52-card deck than there are atoms in the universe. This highlights just how incredible it is to witness such a rare event as a royal flush—twice, no less!

The story of Adelaide’s "lucky dealer" reminds us of the unpredictable nature of chance and the enduring allure of the game of poker. While her luck sparked curiosity and intrigue, her integrity emerged unscathed, proving that sometimes, luck truly appears to be just luck.

If you'd like to hone your poker strategy and try your luck at landing the ever-elusive royal flush, you can play for real money at a legal online casino, or for Gold Coins or Sweepstakes Coins at a social or sweepstakes casino.

But please remember: if you choose to gamble, always set limits, never bet more than you can afford, and practice responsible gambling every time you play.

It is unbelievable but nothing is impossible. I think the investigation is necessary but i doubt if the dealer can influence the outcome of the card. It is likely to be pure probability
