My laptop started giving me issues this morning. After using it last night and shutdown but when I want to power it on this morning, it refused to come on. The power own light by the side shows but the screen won't come on.

What could be the problem? Have anyone had this experience with using their laptop? How did you fix it?

Remove the battery and plug the charger. Try and power it on. If it doesn't come on, then there's a serious problem with it. Take it to the tech guys to look into it.

This here. If it works without the battery, immediately copy over all things you can, and still use it if you want to, but keeping in mind to take backups.

That sounds very frustrating. I think the causes could be loose connections, faulty display or power supply issues. It could be caused by overheating. You should try to unplug and replug the power. It might work.

Sounds like a Lenovo. Unplug the power cord and any other cord. Hold down the power button for 1 minute or more and then plug back in the power cord and try turning it on again. Also see if there is a reset button on the laptop, it would be the size of a small pin, press it for a minute to also reset it.
