Meme coins have no unique value proposition and shouldn't be considered a long term investment. Their price movements is always based on hype. Always follow he hype when it comes to meme coins and aim to cash out as soon as possible.

Example is Dogecoin, Trump Coin, Melania Coin and all those other meme coins that used hype to have good price pumps.

I totally agreed with you. Memecoin is too volatile. One negative news can make memecoin to drop so drastically that you may lose your capital. I never like memecoin at all. I avoid getting entangled with those shit coins.

Long-term memecoin holding sounds funny sometimes. Most of them survive only because of the hype. I remembered how Shiba Inu exploded during the meme season. But the hype markets cool down eventually. If someone wants long-term crypto exposure, coins with stronger ecosystems like Ethereum usually make more sense. Memecoins can make quick profit yes, but holding them for years feels like gambling.

A safer way to benefit from meme coin investment is to invest early on and then exit once it gains momentum. However, some meme coins continue to grow big and gain more value in percentage compared to popular coins like BTC or ETH. I believe some meme coins are good for a long term investment.

I haven't invested in meme coin and if I was investing I would consider investing for a short term. It is too risky to invest in meme coin for a longer period.
