The state legislature of Indiana chose not to approve internet lottery ticket sales despite being common elsewhere. The Indiana lawmaking body rejected a bill which would enable internet sales of lottery tickets.

These lawmakers believed that gambling issues would arise due to online lottery tickets. People in Indiana would only be able to purchase lottery tickets manually at physical locations and not through online channels.
 
I think it's better to keep it to physical purchase, less likely to waste money on it.
