As PokerStars gears up to celebrate the 19th anniversary of its iconic Sunday Million tournament, the online poker giant has unveiled Sunday Million Season—a six-week series running from February 23 to April 6. This action-packed season will culminate in the $6 million guaranteed Sunday Million 19th Anniversary event, offering players of all levels a shot at poker glory.

According to Steve Clarricoats, Associate Director of Poker Operations at PokerStars, this series is about more than just one event:
“Whether you’re a seasoned pro or an aspiring champion, the Sunday Million Season is your chance to be part of poker history. The Sunday Million has a long tradition of turning dreams into reality, with players from around the world achieving life-changing wins. We invite players of all levels to take their seat, showcase their skills, and chase the ultimate online poker glory.”
Beyond the anniversary tournament, PokerStars has crafted a season-long celebration with unique tournaments, exclusive prizes, and multiple ways to qualify.
The First-Ever Phased Sunday Million
Kicking things off on February 23, PokerStars is introducing the first-ever phased Sunday Million. This format offers multiple starting flights, allowing players to enter at different times throughout the week leading up to Sunday’s Phase 2. Anyone advancing from Phase 1 will carry their chip stack forward, creating an exciting new dynamic for this classic event.
A Weekly Poker Showdown: The Episode Lineup
PokerStars is treating each Sunday Million tournament as an “episode,” with champions earning trophies and top finishers receiving hoodies alongside their prize money. Here’s what the schedule looks like:
• February 16-23 – $109 Sunday Million (Phased) – $1 million guaranteed
• March 2 – $215 Sunday Million – $1 million guaranteed
• Also features the $55 Red Spade Open – $500,000 guaranteed
• March 9 – Super Sunday featuring:
• $11 event – $125,000 guaranteed
• $109 event – $1 million guaranteed
• $1,050 event – $250,000 guaranteed
• March 16 – $109 Sunday Million Mystery Bounty – $1 million guaranteed
• March 23 – $109 Sunday Million – $1 million guaranteed
• Also includes the $11 Sunday Storm 14th Anniversary – $350,000 guaranteed

Leaderboard Rewards and Exclusive Prizes
Players competing in Sunday Million events will earn leaderboard points, with double points awarded for the featured episodes and triple points for the Anniversary Sunday Million. PokerStars is giving away $100,000 in Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) tickets to top leaderboard performers.
Additionally, $300,000 in Sunday Million Anniversary and satellite tickets will be raffled off to players who participate in the series.
