March has been a whirlwind for the biggest names on the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) all-time titles leaderboard, with several top contenders adding to their ring collections in recent weeks.
Maurice Hawkins kicked off the frenzy on March 3 by winning the WSOPC Horseshoe Baltimore Main Event, bringing his total to 18 rings and tying the all-time lead. But just days later, Ari Engel reclaimed the top spot by securing his 19th ring in an online event.
Not to be outdone, Daniel Lowery made his own mark by sweeping both Seniors events at the 2025 WSOPC Hard Rock Tulsa stop. His back-to-back wins, which came just a week apart, earned him rings number 17 and 18—putting him in a tie with Hawkins. Lowery, a sawmill owner from Arkansas who plays poker part-time, topped fields of 448 and 399 players in two $250 buy-in tournaments exclusive to players 50 and older. He pocketed $17,187 and $15,831 for his victories.
“The three rings I won this season have all been in Seniors events,” Lowery told WSOP reporters. “It means I’m two away from my goal. We’re not done, we have to get 20. Ari’s jumped out ahead of us, so I’ll try to get 20 first.”
With more than $1.9 million in WSOPC earnings across 180 cashes, Lowery remains the second-highest earner in the circuit’s history. His latest triumph even caught the attention of Engel, who acknowledged the accomplishment on social media.
Beyond the top three contenders, other WSOPC regulars have also been stacking up wins. Joshua Reichard took down a $400 H.O.R.S.E. event for his 16th ring, while Corey Paggeot claimed his 11th after winning a $1,100 no-limit event at the same series.
