After AI, I feel automation will just quietly take over everything. It's not as loud like AI hype. It's just the systems carrying out jobs behind the scenes. Before we realise, plenty of roles must have disappeared. The way tech is moving now raises concern.

I think the next big shift would be Human-AI wearable tech. Something like brain implants. There have been a few successful experiments and hopefully they will be available for public soon.

Hard to say for sure, but I think immersive computing, where AR and lightweight wearable devices blend digital content into daily life instead of pulling us into screens, will become more common. Another thing I expect is robotics moving into everyday environments, not just factories, but homes and services.

Do you think there will be something big coming after AI? Maybe flying cars will be next.

What do you think the next major breakthrough in technology will be after AI?
Flying cars are already in motion. AI is getting ready to burst soon. Some companies are starting to max out their subscription models, and charging users more for their subscriptions. Lots of companies have lost millions of dollars thus far from AI, and it isn't as profitable as they thought.

Alef Aeronautics tested their first prototype last year in February for their flying car:

I think just advancing AI even further than they already have. I don't see what else they could do different after dealing with AI.

I think the next big thing in tech would still stay within the AI ecosystem. It would move from AI tools to AI agents. Those would be AI powered structures that actually act and take actions like humans would do.
