In poker, slow playing involves employing a passive strategy with a strong hand. This technique entices opponents with weaker hands to wager, especially against aggressive players who often resort to bluffing. However, its effectiveness depends on the willingness of opponents to participate in the betting rounds, so it can fail. What do you think?

Trapping players or slow playing hands is effective when you're strong against aggressive players. Sometimes I change it up, and trap tighter players if I believe they hit their cards, and I can get more value.

Sounds dirty to make a person bet more, though I would most likely do it as well if I was set to win big.

1 of the best things to do is use the same amount of time every decision with your whole range, makes it difficult for opponents to read hands when its polarized like this. slow playing is only good on bubbles and slow rolling is saved for vips

No friends at the poker table. If you're truly playing to win you should try and get maximum value. We can be friends after I win 😜

I agree! There's definitely power in slow playing and if done properly, it can also lead to bigger pots that will give a player more value.

I used to auto click fold from blinds which was a big leak for me awhile back, then i started counting to 5 every decision and the amount of people that started bluffing into me increased ten fold. food for thought

I fold my blinds alot, not going to lie lol

But if I notice I start getting pushed around. I push back.

no one really likes playing out of position tbh. there is so many little things, like limping into BB from button or small blind noticing a snap check, then when checked to on flop its a snap check means he has auto fold clicked so bet 1bb into him on turn with ANYTHING and scoop the pot since he/she isnt paying attention, tag and attack once or every other orbit and use to pay your blinds til your turn of RNG comes. they add up the longer the game goes

If you limp under the gun, you usually look stronger, and get less action. I do mix it up when I try to get value from my hands based on the action going on around me, and I try to adapt to the table/players I'm up against.

Slow play in poker is describing a strong hand weakly to hide its strength and possibly build a bigger pot. It requires very careful consideration of the dynamic at the table.

No friend at the poker table. You are absolutely right! Poker like politics is all about interest. No permanent friend. No permanent enemy.

Slow play is always used to try and force your opponents to bluff. I have used it several times. I would just check, and completely avoid betting even when I have a hand that is very strong. And sometimes, the opponent bluffs and I win big.

I think slow playing is when you have a really strong hand but bet small or check to disguise its strength. You're trying to trap opponents into betting more or catch bluffs. It works best with monster hands on safe boards where you're unlikely to get outdrawn.

It's that time of year. Holiday time. When you have to be nice to people. It's a perfect time for poker players to practice their bluffing skills.
To get more women involved in poker, I think Queens should be ranked higher than Kings.

You got this huge bunch of stuff. But I see no link to any freerolls / passwords. I may be to old for this.
